Dr. Albrecht von Breitenbuch, M.A., is a partner at the international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) in Berlin. In his legal practice, he primarily advises on corporate and commercial law. He specializes in transactions (M&A), joint ventures, investment holdings, restructurings and further legal advice for domestic and foreign companies and investors. He focuses on advising real estate investors and young technology companies (start-ups).
Dr. von Breitenbuch is also admitted as a notary in Berlin.
In addition, he is a member of interface (formerly Stiftung Neue Verantwortung), a non-partisan think tank for society in technological change.
He began his academic career by studying law and economics in Freiburg. He continued his legal studies in Berlin (Humboldt University), which he completed with a doctorate (Doctor iuris) after passing the state law examinations. In the meantime, he also obtained a Master of Arts in Economics at Durham University (England).
