Sven H. Korndörffer is Divisional Board Member for Group Communications at Commerzbank and is thus responsible for Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Brand Management and Communication Products and Services. These include Corporate Communications, Political Communications with the liaison offices in Brussels and Berlin, Brand Management, Market Research and the Commerzbank Foundation.
Previously, Sven H. Korndörffer was Managing Director of Group Communications and Governmental Affairs at Aareal Bank Group since 2007. From July 1995 to April 2007 he held various positions at Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB), initially in the Communication and International Relations staff division, after which he was personal assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Management. Most recently he was the bank director in charge of the staff of the NORD/LB Board of Managing Directors.
Sven Korndörffer studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn, where he obtained his degree in economics in 1994.
Korndörffer is also Chairman of the Values Commission initiative “Werte Bewusste Führung in Deutschland” (Values Conscious Management in Germany) and author of numerous articles on value-based management.
