‘The future starts today’ – this is driving Susanne Vorberg since many years in business. During numerous years Susanne has developed her eagerness to continuously grow in the world of Procurement – together with her Network of Suppliers and teams. Working in a multi-culture environment with Suppliers and teams all around the world she always could follow her passion to learn, experience and innovate. Her technical background in combination with a deep knowledge of economics and a continuous learning path throughout her working years were always driving her passion for new ways of working in Procurement. In 2016 she was asked to make Procurement digital and launch the digital journey for Airbus Procurement. A unique chance to join the Airbus digital community and prepare the future around technology, new ways of working and disrupting Procurement.
Just recently in July 2019, she has been asked to join the Procurement Strategy team, strengthening the aspects of Digitalization and Transformation in the overall Procurement Vision and Strategy.
Susanne holds a Master of Economic Engineering and twenty years of experience in Consulting, eCommerce and the Aerospace Sector. Her focus areas are: supply chain and procurement, lean and six sigma, design thinking, UX and since 2017 Coaching. She works in Airbus since 2001 in different functions.
