Verena Lubbers heads the Internal Consulting department of the KfW Banking Group. Previously, she was responsible for project portfolio management and internal control in the area of information technology and managed house wide projects with a focus on process optimization and organizational design.
Prior to joining KfW Bankengruppe, Verena Lubbers worked for six years as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM Business Consulting and managed strategy and business process reengineering projects in the financial and pharmaceutical industries, among others.
After her apprenticeship as a bank clerk (IHK) at Dresdner Bank AG, she completed her studies of business administration with a focus on marketing at the University of Trier and Ohio State University with a degree in business administration.
